Maintaining a pleasant and professional relationship with the media is very important to FC Twente. Key to the relationship between the FC Twente organisation and the press is the Press Office. It serves as the main contact between the club and all types of media. Chiefly responsible for all press contacts at FC Twente is Richard Peters. In all operations, he is assisted by Karen Gorter.

Press releases and newsletters

Press releases are sent by e-mail. If you would you like to receive FC Twente’s press releases, please sign up to them by filling out the form below. All Media that wish to receive FC Twente’s press releases are required to at least carry an NSP or AISP card. Possession thereof is also requested when filling out the application below.

Requests for Interviews

Requests to interview players, coaches, directors and board members may be submitted to the Chief Press Officer: Richard Peters: r.peters@fctwente.nl or 0031 53 – 852 55 67.

The manager and the press

Prior to every match there will be a “chat with the press” at FC Twente. This will provide an opportunity for the press and the manager to discuss recent developments regarding the squad. These meetings will take place prior to all matches in the Eredivisie, KNVB Cup, and any games in the play-offs and will be held at the FC Twente Training Centre. For all UEFA Champions League matches and UEFA Europa League matches these meetings will be held in The Grolsch Veste, either shortly before or after the final training session. Training sessions

Unless otherwise indicated, all of FC Twente’s training sessions are, open to the public. All camera crews are required to report in advance to the Chief Press Officer, Richard Peters (r.peters@fctwente.nl).

Access to the stadium and matches

Outside of regular press and match days, media representatives are only allowed access to the stadium if they have made a prior appointment through the Press Office.

Any media representatives wishing to attend one of FC Twente’s matches in The Grolsch Veste are required to carry the correct accreditation. Such accreditation is provided if the applicant is able to show an NSP or AISP card, or any similar type of accreditation. This does not imply that possession of such a card will automatically lead to the issuance of such accreditation. It does however imply that possession thereof is a minimum requirement for accreditation.

Accreditation requests must be submitted to the Press Office a minimum of two weekdays prior to the match in question through press@fctwente.nl. Any request submitted after this deadline will not be considered. Accreditation for any of FC Twente’s away matches is to be submitted to the host club.

Pictures & footage

FC Twente employs several house photographers providing its pictures. They record any and all events relating to the club. Additionally, FC Twente TV will provide video material for many of the club’s activities. This has created a huge database of footage and pictures.

These are initially used by FC Twente Media, but may also be open to use by third parties. Subject to certain conditions, and after consultation with the club, these images may be used by such a third party.
